Do you any suggestions of anything you’d like to see on CrazyPellas?

Id like to see the shoutbox improved. If its possible maybe embeding video and putting the picture code back so we can put pics in da shoutbox but only a certain size and figure out why it flickers when new shouts come

Videos and Pictures won’t be enabled in the shoutbox. The flickering can be annoying I know, just have to live with it, it’s nothing major

More layouts

Take ALL the graphics and turn them into any color you want, and send them to me.

um maybe more community like things like another cp mixtape (producer and rapper collab).

Working on more community things. We tried a collab mixtape before and no one submitted anything so we probably won’t be trying it again. If members want to get together themselves then PM me when you have everything I’ll be happy to help promote it.

I’d like to get talent points for commenting on posts in the creative writing thread since it’s part of the talent forum.

The creative writing forum isn’t really active enough to enable talent points in there I don’t feel.

More thorough contests. Hosted by various producers/artists on pellas instead of the usual hosts.

Everything usually goes more smoothly if one person is running them all the time as they know how it works.

Easier site direction and access

The forum navigation bar at the top was made, to make the site more easier to navigate, I don’t know what else I can do.

I’d like to see more activity with the artist. I’d like to hear unsigned act from other genres than hip-hop. I am a rapper/producer from CrazyPellas…but I would like to see the site be marketed towards all forms of music.

The site isn’t really marketed to any forms of music, but hip hop has taken over lol. And at present this site isn’t generating enough revenue so that I can run a marketing campaign over sites of other genres to bring them in, even then, they’ll see most everything is hip hop and probably won’t participate, that’s my view.

no more hidden links or hitting the thank you button to see links for acapellas and direct downloads for instrumentals and acapellas.

Stop being lazy, would you be willing to pay a premium for these direct downloads? Having direct downloads increases bandwidth and disk space usage, bandwidth isn’t an issue, disk space is tho, everything is backed up onto a second hard drive so that means everything is doubled.

Previews of all pellas – some recent downloads have been of very very poor quality

If they are uploaded to zShare you can hear before you download, don’t know of any sites. That would be for the filehosting sites to do, not us.

Explicit-read easy to follow tutorials for beginners-that lead to intermediate-then advanced-then finally expert. Probably all in thier own catagories-but that cover the various fields that this site features. Ex: I’d like to create my own Mashups. Someone else might want to know how to self produce thier own demo. The few tutorials-not that I’m complaining, that are around seem to assume the reader is already familiar to fluent with the topic and is in reality a trouble shooting sort of thread.

That’s the idea for the resources section that I mentioned earlier in the survey.

I’m not sure what you mean by soundclick functionality … if you’re saying better integration, then maybe, but if you’re trying to compete with soundclick, I’d say don’t bother.

Not sure what you mean by better integration Unless you mean integration with soundclick, I don’t think soundclick have an API.
The soundclick functionality we integrate here, wouldn’t be to directly compete with soundclick, it’d be more for the members here.

It should be easier to post a thread, instead of going off of points.

Are you kidding?! That would mean thousands of forums. I may create a links database where MEMBERS could submit links to threads under artists.

Would probably need to be some sort of database, I’ll look into it. It would be up to members to submit data, if the data was incorrect it could be reported and would be looked into by someone..

Pro-tools plugins and Plugins, also more download samples

There is a plugins forum, we tried having a section for specific software plugins but it was too dead so it was removed.
This site is basically user generated content, so whatever members submit, is what you get.

less hip hop orrientated stuff and more house sample packs, drums, vocals etc…. Also a section dedicated to links to remix competitions for all genres. recently there was a Mariah Carey remix comp where you could win 5K

Sorry but hip hop is just what this site has turned out to be, when the site was first started it wasn’t for any specific genre, and we need to keep the majority happy
Links to remix contests would be driving traffic away from here, for something that we do/plan to do.

Sure we don’t have $5,000 prizes, them contests are probably sponsored by the labels/artists. I don’t really have any contacts in the music industry that I talk to regulary, so it would be pretty much impossible to offer prizes anywhere near that amount.

a freebie site type thing like rewards1 but you can get a custom order from any site and you can get prepaid visa’s as one of the prizes.

I will allow for users to request custom rewards from the freebie site.
