So, after I hid the download forums, Ef thought it would be funny to say the reason was because I am being sued. I think she only said it a couple of times, and it was repeated by a few other members, and I ended up receiving a few emails saying something along the lines of “Good luck in court”, thanks guys.
But the truth is I am not being sued, nothing like that at all!
The reason I hid them was quite simply I am fed up with all the members who come here just to download. Alright, you may say that is how the site is advertised, and I agree to an extent. But it’s really on the premise that because you download acapellas, instrumentals, and samples, that you must make music, or do you just collect them?
Acapellas
Used by DJ’s to blend over instrumentals, and chop up to add into remixes they are making. (Post the remixes and blends you make in the Remixes and Blends forum.)
Instrumentals
Same as acapellas, just switch the words. (Post the remixes and blends you make in the Remixes and Blends forum.)
Used by Artists to sing or rap over. (Post the tracks you record in the Audio forum.)
Samples
Drum kits, piano loops, guitar loops, voices, sound fx e.t.c.
Mainly used by producers to make beats. Sometimes used by DJ’s to make their remixes and blends more interesting. (Post the beats that you make in the Homemade Beats forum.)
That’s my understanding of what each of the above are used for, obviously it is just short and they are used for many other things, and full details would warrant separate posts.
So what is stopping you from posting your music?
Scared of being told your music is crap?
If you’re doing this as a hobby, that’s a perfectly good reason. But, if you are doing this as a career, and this is your reason, I would tell you to stop now. If you can’t take negative feedback on an Internet forum, how on earth are you going to in real life?!
The feedback you get on CrazyPellas is the best type of feedback you can get, it is from people you don’t know, it is from people who are at different experience levels, and it is from people who love making music, like you!
The feedback will be detailed from people who want to post their own music also, because of the points system we have only gives you points if your posts contain a certain number of characters.
Too lazy to follow the points system?
Fuck off! you expect people to give you feedback on your music, but you won’t give them feedback on theirs?
Hey, even if you don’t want to post your own music for feedback, at least give feedback to others who have posted and asked for it.
You are probably saying, I am one to talk, when I rarely post in the talent forums. My reason is this, I have never hidden the fact that I don’t listen to rap or rnb music, and that is the majority of stuff that is posted, if someone posts dance, hardstyle, hardcore, rock or any other genre’s I listen to, I will leave them feedback. What about the graphics and writing forums? I am not much of a graphics person, and only do them if I have to, that’s not really an excuse tho because I can say what I like and don’t like about them, so I’ll try to in future but I’d rather be commenting on website designs, advertising banners, not album and mixtape covers… and as for writing, falls back to not listening to rap music again because that is what is posted. I also run, and develop other sites, so I have to split my time up so that I am spending most time on what is benefiting me the most.
I didn’t need to explain myself, but there you have it.
Anyway the point I’m making is if you’re here to participate, you are welcome and valued. If you’re here to just download files… fuck off! (thanks to jef for that 
)
We are not scared to ban members either who just download, since the download forums have been hidden an addition 100+ members were banned, and there are another 900 or so that have been banned for leeching and creating multiple accounts after being banned.

i get wut ur saying. Some people do only come to the forum to download. But some things like the software section, u cud hav left unhidden. And some people actually do use the stuff we download. Im actually gonna start posting stuff in the talent section in the near future. Cuz i need to kno whether people like my voice or not. lol And i will definitely check other people’s work aswell. So, luk out for Brandon in the near future. And thank you for the amazing site. But plz bring back the downloads. lol

i’m more worried that if i post something someone likes, they will claim it as there own and give 0 credit where credit is due, because the site doesnt have a copyright structure and without one, people who post on the site, who dont have lables or anything can be the subject of beat-theaving.
@Brandon: why would I have kept the software section unhidden, when the people who were/are using it aren’t posting…. and as you saw they are back
@Kissler: I understand that concern, that’s who you should tag your beats/remixes/blends, like most people do. You could link to your myspace/soundclick/imeem page for people to listen to your music, most people do that. The copyright notice is at the bottom of all pages “All content is protected by the copyright of their respective owners”, I know it’s not much, but it’s better than nothing, and hands everything over to you, the person who posts their music.
And, as I said, you can give feedback to other people even if you don’t want to post your music.
Yeah, people just collect this stuff, but I try to put all my stuff to work!
So yeah, I guess i’ll have to post some stuff here. I got a lot of my stuff on youtube and my website. It might get more feedback here.

Everything that was said above is applauded!! i love the site and use it often. being a dj i have remixes and other music but time is of the essence and only now have i got a second to catch up on past emails and posts not leaving a lot of time to get my stuff uploaded. but thats just me and im workin on that!! YOU CANT GET SUCCESSFUL IF NO ONE HEARS YOU!! but i do give feedback even though i don’t post. THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT!! FEEDBACK PEOPLE!! have a good one!

@bonlowess: See, the problem with trying to get major djs, artists, and producers involved on the site, is the downloads… they’d prolly inform their labels, and they’d prolly take legal action… and the site would go offline. Don’t get me wrong, I would love for major djs, artists, and producers to be involved on the site, which is why I am trying to take the focus off the downloads and onto the talent forums.. then I can phaze the downloads away (link to other sites, that do provide what is already on CP).
